Programmer/Analyst (#1464)
Position Details:
Shift: Temporary (approximately 1 year), Full-Time; Days (Monday - Friday)
Salary: $57,528 annually.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must possess a a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems or a related field and the equivalent of 2 years of full-time experience in programming of mainframe or PC information systems as it relates to technology used at the Institute.
NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Cancer Institute as following acceptable educational practices.
The preferred candidate will have experience with programming to support application analysis, design, configuration and support, experience building or supporting structured documentation forms and notes to enhance and support discrete data collection, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nature of Work and Responsibilities:
This Programmer/Analyst will design, analyze and build structured documentation to support Clinical Research Services (CRS) and program using the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) build tools to develop and deploy structured documentation to support existing and future data collection and reporting needs. This candidate will work with the Clinical Applications team within the Information Technology (IT) Department and support the existing EMR structured documentation team. Further duties will include expanding on the development of the EMR application to support CRS accrual, documentation and data collection processes, performing computer program analysis and design, monitoring program implementations, and conferring with CRS and IT staff to develop and modify computer systems.
